Getting Started with Short Term Study Abroad

Explore culture, art, politics, and lifestyles around the world. Studying abroad allows you to gain first-hand experience of living in another country while still working toward your Mercy College degree. If you are interested in studying abroad for the winter or summer sessions, please contact the Center for Global Engagement at



Study Abroad Locations - Summer 2020

Mercy College has agreements with universities abroad that allow students to attend courses with local students in order to become fully integrated into the host country's local culture.  During the Summer  2020 there are opportunities to study in the following countries:  Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Japan, Republic of Korea (South Korea), Spain, United KingdomPlease contact the Center for Global Engagement ( by May 1 if you are interested in studying abroad during the Summer 2020. 

Mercy College offers study abroad programs where students pay their Mercy tuition and other costs (housing, books, etc.) are paid to the visiting university. Financial aid and Scholarships can be used during your semester abroad when you go to one of the partner universities. For Winter and Summer sessions, students pay directly to partner schools. Visa are not required for short-term programs that are less than 90 days.

Short-term study abroad programs enrich curriculum by taking learning to a new dimension outside the classroom.

Study Abroad represents a great opportunity...and you may have a lot of questions as to how to pursue that opportunity.
