Mercy College signed an agreement with the Shanghai Jian Qiao University in China to explore student exchange, faculty exchange, summer programs and collaborations between the two schools.  The agreement will allow students from Shanghai to attend Mercy to pursue a Master of Science degree upon successful completion of a bachelor’s in computer science from Shanghai University.

In September Mercy College President Tim Hall traveled to China to meet with the President of the Shanghai Jian Qiao University.  While there the two had a signing ceremony for the agreement.  Hall was also able to meet with the Shanghai-Mercy cohort students.

On traveling to China, Hall said: “This is an exciting opportunity for Mercy College. We are working to spread our work and mission to faraway lands. What we offer at Mercy College is unique, and I know it will be very well received.”
