M.A. Elementary EducationMi-Hyun Chung, PhD, is a full professor, serving the department of Literacy and Multilingual Studies in School of Education at Mercy College, New York. Her teaching and research interests are multicultural education, children’s and young adult literature, and technology-integrated language education. Previously, she was a full-time elementary teacher and she moved to study in a doctoral program at Indiana University at Bloomington where she also taught practicum and assessment courses to graduate students. Indiana University at Bloomington is her alma mata, where she received the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Language Education(Major) and Curriculum Theories(Minor) in 2006.
