Margaret Cucinell

BIO

Dr. Margaret M. Cucinell, Ed.D. is currently serving as Assessment Coordinator for the School of  Business working with faculty to update assessment measures within the School. Previously she served as the Chairperson of the undergraduate Business Department, overseeing the administration of the undergraduate business programs and serving on the School of Business Leadership team. Prior to joining the School of Business Faculty in 2009 Dr. Cucinell held several administrative positions at the College over a ten year period  including Associate Provost of Academic Administration.  Dr. Cucinell teaches management, business ethics and strategic management.

Before joining Mercy College Dr. Cucinell spent 18 years at Long Island University- Westchester Graduate Campus serving in various administrative positions, including Associate Provost. During Dr. Cucinell’s tenure at Long Island University’s Westchester Campus she helped to develop the graduate school population from a few hundred students to close to 1,000 in the late 1990’s.

Besides her professional positions and service on numerous College faculty committees, Dr. Cucinell served as a member of the Board of Directors, Our Lady of Victory Academy, Mercy Secondary Education for Women.
