Zach Williams is delighted to be a new Instructor at the Mercy College School of Business, and he teaches courses in Business Communications, Finance, Quantitative Skills, and Management. He has an MBA in Finance from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business. Prior to teaching, Zach worked in asset management at New York Life Insurance and worked on several high-profile company projects including managing $3.5 Billion of AARP and other assets and implementing automated processes during a surge of investments throughout the 2008 Recession.
In 2010, Zach started his own communications consulting company in which he trained professionals in public speaking skills. Zach’s company serves the training needs of Fortune 500 Companies, Federal Agencies, Academic Institutions, Non-profits, and CEOs. He is well known for writing on public speaking best practices and commentary on current communication topics, and he frequently presents on public speaking issues. Before earning an MBA and working in Finance, Zach earned a BA in Theater from Oberlin College and had a successful career as a professional actor. Zach’s teaching style draws on his diverse experience in communications, finance, and training.
