Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. – June 10, 2014– “The View” co-host and actress Whoopi Goldberg addressed the topic of prisoner education on her hit ABC television show. Goldberg, who delivered the commencement address at Hudson Link’s graduation at the Sing Sing Correctional Facility June 4, commended Mercy College and Hudson Link for Higher Education for the important work being done inside Sing Sing.

Twenty-six men graduated June 4, all receiving Mercy College diplomas for having completed the required coursework in the facility. The program is run by Hudson Link for Higher Education, a privately funded non-profit organization that offers college courses to inmates.
