Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. – July 7, 2014– Mercy College Marketing Director Alexa D’Agostino was recently named a Rising Star – Westchester’s 40 Under 40 by the Business Council of Westchester.

On receiving the award D’Agostino said: “It is such an honor to be apart of this distinguished and talented group of professionals. I have been fortunate to have great coworkers, bosses and mentors. I look forward to being part of this group and help build the reputation of Mercy College. I also thank Mercy College Chief Advancement Officer Bernadette Wade for the nomination.”

A passionate entrepreneur, she has founded more than five of her own companies. She continues to focus her efforts on helping small to medium-sized organizations optimize their marketing platforms and increase their visibility to current and prospective customers. D’Agostino has also penned two books; SEO for the Average Joe and What All Entrepreneurs Should Know Before Starting Their Own Business.

An Orange County native D’Agostino holds a bachelors of science degree from Pace University and a masters from Mercy College. She is currently working towards finishing her MBA from Mercy College. In her spare time she coaches girls soccer at FC Westchester.
