Mercy College Provost Dr. Concetta M. Stewart recently found out her husband’s great-great-grandfather was the first mayor of Dobbs Ferry. The first mayor of Dobbs Ferry. The first mayor, then called president, was James H. Pooley. The Pooley family recently came to Dobbs Ferry for a reunion.
