Aki Ohseki

Dr Aki Ohseki recently relocated to her "home state" of New York from Southern CA, where she served as core faculty and Chair of the Early Childhood Education Program at Pacific Oaks College. Dr Ohseki earned her MA from New York University in Early Childhood/Elementary Education, and her doctorate from Teachers College, Columbia University in Curriculum and Teaching/Early Childhood Education. Dr Ohseki also has many years of experience teaching in early childhood, progressive classrooms on both the east and west coasts. She has enjoyed the transition to teaching at Mercy College and looks forward to continuing her work as part of a dynamic Early Childhood/Childhood Education Department.
