Gail Lavin Murphy

Gail Lavin Murphy returned to the Mercy College Physician Assistant Program in the School of Health and Natural Sciences in 2018 as the Academic Coordinator. Ms. Murphy was also an adjunct in the PA program from 2009 to 2013. Prior to returning to Mercy, Ms. Murphy was involved in the start-up and of the Marist Physician Assistant Program in Poughkeepsie, NY. Ms. Murphy has over 25 years of experience in Emergency Medicine and remains active clinically. She attended the SUNY Stony Brook PA Program receiving a BS in Physician Assistant Studies. She completed her Master’s Degree with a concentration in Emergency Medicine in 2003. She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree at NOVA Southeastern University
