Kimberly A. Rapoza PhD is an Associate Professor of Psychology (tenured) in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Mercy College.
She has a steady stream of authoring or co-authoring peer-reviewed articles, edited chapters, and presentations on family violence and health. As PI on institutional grants, she has led the Ronald E. McNair program at the college for seven years, supported by a renewed grant from the U.S.
Department of Education ($1.16 million), and pursued her research on childhood maltreatment and health, under a NIH-RIMI subproject ($250,000), and multiple NIH-EARDA awards. She is now Co-PI on a NIDILRR grant investigating patient-provider discordance in adolescents with Lupus ($600,00). She has been active in professional associations, including the Association of Psychological Sciences and American Psychological Association.
