Sara Martucci

Sara is a professor of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the Bronx and Manhattan campuses. Her dissertation focused on the everyday effects of cultural displacement that urban residents face during gentrification. She is beginning a quantitative, comparative study of gentrification in U.S. cities, and welcomes undergraduates who are interested in collaborating on this project. Sara also serves as the Non-Traditional Student Liaison at the Bronx campus. In this role she works with faculty and staff to find new ways of supporting students at Mercy.
